Creating personalized “membership” cards for clubs or events
Hi folks! I’m running a small book club and thought about issuing personalized membership cards to members with their names, join dates, and unique club logos. Do you think custom cards help build community? What design details make a membership card feel special rather than generic?

I’ve created badges for several hobby groups and swear by editable templates from drivers lisence template. I customized them with each member’s favorite genre icon, used foil-press stickers for names, and included a subtle background motif tied to our club’s theme. Adding a unique membership number in bold type also gave a sense of exclusivity. If you’re feeling crafty, try die-cut shapes or attach them to leather straps for an upscale vibe. These small touches transformed simple cards into keepsakes that members proudly show off at meetings.

This is a neat idea. I’m in a couple of online communities and personalized swag always boosts morale. A custom card would definitely make me feel more included in a club.
